DAY ONE
I remember feeling lucky. Which is quite ironic due to fact of the results of this unforgettable plane ride. I remember my mother dropping me off at the airport in tears saying how much she loved me and how she would miss me. "it's just for two weeks mom" I explained. This didn't seem to have any effect on her because even then she hadn't let me breathe from the very strong embrace she was ever so kindly giving me. "I'm already late mom I have to go! I love you so much" I said gently breaking the hug. "I love you too sweetie, fly safe and call me as soon as you land!" And with that I was on my own, it was just me against the world. After getting my ticket and sprinting to security, I went through without a problem and then again sprinted to my gate. Thankfully my watch was set to an earlier so I arrived with some time to spare. There were many people waiting to board the plane so I made conversation with a few people who i had no choice but to sit next too. We didn't talk about anything specific, just small talk to pass time. A warm voice over the intercom announced that our flight was now boarding, so I gathered my belongings and got in line. Once i got comfy in my seat and made acquaintances with the people in my row, we toke off. I don't normally mind flying, its just the taking off and the landing, I usually hold my mothers hand but she wasn't there so I forcefully shut my eyes and strongly gripped the arm rest. Clearly aware of my discomfort the young boy sitting next to me held my hand and said "don't worry its almost over." I smiled and thanked him, this was the last thing i remember before it all happened.
I felt something wet drop onto the back of my head. It slowly slid down the front of my face and then repeated. My view was blurry and i could see my arms and legs, but couldn't feel them. My neck ached and as i slowly lifted my head I got a rush of pain up my spine and i let out a moan of pain. I tried to wiggle my fingers and toes and slowly but surely the feeling came back. I looked all around and saw only jungle, i was surrounded and had no idea where i was. I also realized that i was high off the ground, i was still strapped into my seat. Next to me there was an empty seat then the next one over had many pillows and blankets covering it. I reached over to pull them off and that's when it hit me. As the plush blankets and pillows fell to ground it revealed the little boy's mother who had been asleep while we were taking off, she was bleeding profusely. I tried to help stop the bleeding by apply pressure to her wound, but there was so much blood and not enough time, she was already gone. I couldn't breathe and started to panic and tried to un-clip my seat belt but it was stuck. With tears in my eyes I started to yell for help, but I was all alone, it was just me against the world. I tried to calm myself down and thought to myself "I need a plan."
DAY TWO
I looked around at what was left of the plane and I started to think. My eyes scanned across the inside and were met with a bright red box that was labeled "First Aid". Out of my reach it sat there and mocked me. I felt around me and then my fingers hit something long and metal. I pulled the unknown object out from under my seat, it was an umbrella! Stilled wrapped I pushed the button and the umbrella went out just far enough to reach the handle of the First Aid Kit. "Thank you, God" I murmured to myself and rummaged through it to find a pair of scissors. Before making the cut I prepared myself for what was about to occur. It was at least a 10 foot drop and fragments from the plane were scattered everywhere on the ground below. Looking up at the sky I said a little prayer and quickly cut my seat belt. I hit the ground hard after a few seconds of free fall. I woke up on my back and again my body felt numb. I sat up very slowly in fear of hurting myself even further. "Holy *bleep* that worked" I said aloud to myself. I then looked down at my legs and that's when the pain rushed in; there was a huge piece of metal stabbed into the side of my thigh. There was some luggage scattered near me on the ground so I looked through some and found a reusable water bottle, clothes, and oddly a pocket knife. I ripped off one of the sleeves from the clothes in the luggage and tied it around my thigh, letting out a yelp of pain. Looking around all I could see were trees. I knew i needed to find some source of water so slowly getting to my feet I found a large stick to help me walk and then I was off. After about 30 minutes of walking I stopped abruptly, I could hear running water! I limply ran to the sound, pushed my way through some shrubbery and there it was; a gorgeous waterfall appeared in-front of me. I carefully went onto the end the grass where a pool of water met some gravely sand. I dipped the water bottle that I found in the luggage into the cold fresh water and began to chug it. My eyes wondered around the unfamiliar place and something bright caught my eyes, they were berries, some red and some white. I scooted over and right before I popped one in my mouth I though to myself " White and yellow kill a fellow, red and blue are good for you". I grabbed a handful of red berries and started to feast, then grabbed some more for later. Right as I was about to get up a loud noise shattered across the sky and I hit the deck. I could tell it was a gun shot so I stayed down, and three more were fired. After a few minutes I got back to my feet and started on my way again, but just as I was about to push through the shrubbery, I grabbed a big handful of white berries, "just in case.." I thought to myself.
DAY THREE
After i got a safe enough distance away from the waterfall and the sound of the gun shots, I gently sat myself down on a tree stump and poured some water on my wound which still had the metal jabbed in my skin. I knew it needed to come out but i just couldn't build up the courage to pull it out. I took a few large deep breaths, grabbed hold on the jagged metal piece and counted to three; "1...2...3"! With a forceful jolt and a wave of pain the foreign object was finally out of my body. The pain was bad for a few seconds but then became bearable. Unfortunately this was the good part of the process, the worst was yet to come. I pulled some medical supplies out of the pack i put together at the scene of the crash and held a little bottle of alcohol in my hand. My eyes started to tear and slowly dripped some onto my wound, I tried to be as quite as i could but a scream of pain rushed out of me. I breathed heavily as i wrapped my leg with some bandages and the silence was almost deadly, until i heard a faint "h-hello..?"
DAY FOUR
"Is anyone there?" The voice sounded scared but most importantly close so i gathered my things and ran as best i could to some trees that would hide myself from the unknown person. The stump was covered in blood and the voice spoke again and sounded even closer "I can tell you're hurt, i can help i promise i wont hurt you." I started to think of an escape plan and just as i was about to make my move, i froze. Something about the voice was familiar, but i couldn't exactly place it. I peeked out from behind the trees to look for the person, but there was no one in sight. "what the..." i said to myself, stepping out into the open. "AH HA!" the voice cried out. Turning to quickly i screamed and fell right to the ground. "I knew there was someone here i just knew it!" I looked up and the face slowly came into focus; It was the young boy who sat next to me on plane.
DAY FIVE
"Oh my gosh hi!" I cried out with relief. I struggled to get back to my feet.
"Hi! I'm assuming you remember me from the plane, we were sitting in the same-are you alright? You don't look so good..." he replied.
"Yeah I just cut my leg but I'll be alright thanks. And yes I remember you, you held my hand while we were taking off! And your moth-....". I had forgotten about how his mother ended up after the crash and now there was just awkward silence.
"Yes...unfortunately my mother didn't make it through the crash. She was too busy getting me strapped into my seat that she didn't have time to worry about herself."
"I'm so sorry. From what i can tell she really loved you. Everything is going to be okay." I reassured him.
"Thanks and I know..hey i never caught your name?"
"Oh right, my name is Bethany Summers."
"I'm Benjamin, Benjamin Joss pleased to meet you. Let me show you to my camp site Bethany." And that is when our alliance formed.
DAY SIX
Once we arrived at his surprisingly well put together camp site it was almost dark. "Do you have any food on you by any chance?" he asked.
"Yes, I actually do" i replied with a smile. "Here." I dumped a big hand full onto a large leaf and gently gave it to him. And also gave him some water
"Thanks! Where did you find these?"
"Of course!" i graciously said. " And right near where you found me there is a hidden waterfall. Hey how did you get all of this stuff for your camp?" He had some type of hammock set up to sleep in, a fire, and even a seat from the airplane propped right next to the fire.
"Oh nice, we should stop there tomorrow for more resources. And yeah i was pretty lucky with the chair, I guess it just landed here while the plane was crashing. The tarp that I used for the hammock I found in the plane before i left. And I'm also an eagle scout so I'm pretty good in the wilderness, thus the fire."
"Wow, you are a very impressive young man Benjamin."
"Thanks" he said, smiling at the ground. "Well i think i should get some sleep. Goodnight."
"Okay goodnight, sleep tight." And right before he climbed up into the tarp he stopped.
"Hey, I'm really glad I ran into you. It's nice to know that I'm not alone anymore." I smiled and nodded then he went to bed. I sat in the chair next to warm crackling fire and gazed up at stars.
"I'm not alone anymore" I mumbled to myself and drifted off to sleep.
DAY SEVEN
I awoke to the bright sun beating on my face. Benjamin was already up and walking around the campsite.
"Oh good you're up!" he said.
"Yes, good morning, you're up early."
"Yeah, I cant really sleep with bright the sun is every morning. Hey can you take me to that waterfall you were talking about?"
"Um yeah sure, I need some berries any way I'm starving."
"Me too. I also have an idea if you are willing to hear it."
"Of course!." I answered interestingly.
"Well, over the days I have had the chance to wander around and get to know the surrounds of this place. And don't get me wrong it's nice and all, but I think we should travel somewhere else. Somewhere closer to the shore line, maybe more people from the plane would be there."
"I think finding other people is a great idea. We were in the back of the plane so maybe the people from the front have a radio signal or something!"
"Exactly, so lets stock up on food and water and go."
"Sounds like a plan."
"We should travel light, only bring important stuff."
DAY EIGHT
Once we gathered up the necessities for traveling, it was time to head off. After a few steps my leg started to ache and then i remembered the injury i had gotten and took a seat on a tree stump again.
"Hey wait up a second." I called out to Benjamin, who had quite a big lead on me I might add.
"Is everything alright?" he answered with a loss of breath.
"Yeah I'm fine i just need to change these bandages is all."
"Oh right, here lemme help." He used our bags to prop my leg up as i started unwrapping the old bandages. He turned away, probably terrified of blood after what happened to his mother. I poured the rest of my water on my leg which was followed by a whimper, and then we were off again.
"So how far is the waterfall from here?" Benjamin asked.
"Not too far, we will get there around early afternoon."
We walked side by side and as we were enjoying the environment and taking it all in, he started to sing a song i recognized from my childhood, and i sang along too. I could tell that we were nearing a the waterfall because the area started too look familiar. And just as I started to feel somewhat relieved, that's when the gun shots were yet again fired.
DAY NINE
Benjamin and I immediately both dropped to the ground. He looked back at me with eyes full of fear. I tried to crawl near him but my leg made that very difficult so I pointed to some near by shrubbery, motioning for him to hide in it and without hesitation he did just that. I lay there, wide open for the predator to kill me. I needed to think of something, and fast. A few feet away there was a pretty wide tree and I knew that was my best bet. I could hear leaves crunching and braches breaking in the distance. With my heart pounding I drug myself as fast as i could over to the tree just in time to hear a mans voice.
"Who's out there?!" he shouted with some sort of accent I couldn't quite place. "I know someone is here, I saw yous!"
I could just barely see Benjamin from the angle I was at, he was shaking with fear. I pushed the back of my head up against the tree and breathed heavily, the voice was coming closer. My mind raced with plans of what do to but i couldn't think fast enough and that's when the man came into my view. He was a very tall and very muscular African American
with some sort of hatchet in his hand. I quickly scooted around to the other side of the tree so I wasn't visible. I quietly started looking through m y bag for those scissors from the first aid kit when it me. The man was inching towards Benjamin! I peered around the side of the tree ad the man was so close to the bushes Benjamin was in, without think I stood up with my back still against the tree. I didn't have a plan, but I knew that foreign man could not take Benjamin. So I took a deep breath and turned from behind the tree.
"Hey!" I yelled "Over here!"
DAY TEN
Within seconds the man was sprinting towards me, hatchet and all. Without even thinking I turned around and began to run for my dear life. My leg began to shoot with pain, so I told myself to forget about it and after awhile it started to fade. A few minutes into the chase I noticed that we were far enough away from Benjamin so that he could escape easily, but that didn't stop me from trying to save my own life. I was running as fast as I could and he was still gaining on me. I tried gazing ahead to find any routes that would make me lose him, but nothing of the such was visible. I then turned my head back around to see what was once a huge gap between me and the mad man was much smaller, I needed to speed up! And just as I turned me head back to normal view, my feet ran over some type of bumpy material and the next thing i knew i was 10 feet off the ground. Trapped, I watched the number of foreigners multiply and cheer, for they have finally caught me. And again i was all alone.
DAY ELEVEN
I awoke with a horizontal blurry view of some type of barred cage. It looked like i was at some type of camp site, much greater than mine and Benjamin's though. My hands and feet were tied tightly with vines. I propped myself up against a stone wall and began to scan my surroundings. "Okay, don't panic" i told myself. Only a few moments went by when a strange man approached the cage, it was the same man that had chased me the day before. As he inched closer my eyes began to grow smaller with anger. He was mumbling some language i didn't know to other men around and once he was close enough to the cage he made out the words with a struggle "your name please". The first thing that crossed my mind was how surprisingly mannered this lunatic was. But even that didn't make me open my mouth. "your name please" he repeated again, thinking i was deaf or something. I just sat there with a stern stare and he finally gave up and walked away. Hours went by and my stomach started to groan so loud, I couldn't even sleep. No one seemed to be walking around the camp site so i scooted up to the bars to get a better view of the camp site. The only lit up areas were the ones with torches and that was very limited. Nothing seemed to interest me so I began to scoot back until there was a loud bang. I returned to my spot against the bars and squinted in the distance. "Holy sh-"
I began...these people had the plane radio, and it was actually working!
DAY TWELVE
The next morning I was woken up in a much less pleasant way, ice cold water pierced my skin and I immediately shot up. "Hey what the hell man!" i screamed. And then three men opened the caged. I started to scream and kick as two of them grabbed my arms and the third went for my feet. It was not a struggle for them to carry, I was significantly smaller than them, but i tried to my best to break free. My screaming got louder and louder until another man came up from behind me with a handkerchief that was forcefully tied around my mouth. "Damn, how many of these guys are there?!" I thought to myself. Before I could even finish the thought I was thrown on the ground. I landed on my knees right in front of a wide-set man with a long beard. He must be the man in charge.
"Ello" he said with a deep, creepy British accent. "So nice of you to join us today!" He let out a big laugh and all of his men did the same.
"What do you want from me?" I asked, trying to not seem afraid.
"Oh don't worry sweetheart, you'll know soon enough!"
DAY THIRTEEN
And with that all the men cheered and the man in charger took me by the hair and drug me to edge of a cliff. I tightly grasps his hands that were still gripped on my hair and began to cry out for him to stop.
"Stop, please!!" I screamed, but he continued to push me further and further off.
"Who brought you here!?" He asked, rumbling with anger. "Who sent you!?"
"No one! No one sent me!!" I screamed, tears filling in my eyes.
"LIARRRRRR!!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. He threw me on my back with my head and shoulder hanging off the cliff, puled out a sword and put it to my throat. "Prepare to die my lovely." I then shut my eyes and thought about my family and friends. I honestly think i was ready to die, there was no way i was going to surrive on this island and i'm almost positive no one was looking for our plane. So I mumbled "yes".
"Wait, stop!!" a voice yelled.
DAY FOURTEEN
All heads turned to the young, unarmed man.
"Who dares interrupt me?!" The hefty man yelled.
"My name does not matter, but what does is the information I have." He said with a smirk.
"What information...?" The man asked curiously.
"I cannot say it aloud, may we talk in private." The man in charge took a few moments to really think about his offer. My life was flashing before my eyes and if he was going to kill me, I just wanted it to be over with.
"We may talk, after I finish my business first, referring to me I assumed, and started inching me off the cliff once again.
" Well, this is it" I thought to myself.
"No, the only thing I ask for in return of my information is our lives." He said with confidence. My eyes widen with surprise.
DAY FIFTEEN
The man in charge narrowed his eyes, seeing if this young man was being serious or not. The young man held his confident gaze, giving the impression that he was most definitely serious. And that's when the fat man started to chuckle again. At this point in time i wanted to believe my life was safe, but my hair was still being tightly gripped and this made me think otherwise.
"HAHAHA!" His laugh echoed in the distance. "You think you can just storm into MY camp site and order ME around?! Hahahaha oh you preposterous little boy!"
That is when his grip grew stronger and that is when the bad feelings about if I was going to live or not started creeping back. I once again clasped my hands on his and prepared for the worst.
"I am no little boy, I am I man." He replied, moving his jacket so his weapon became visible. "And I am not afraid to prove it. So once again I ask, may we talk in private?"
It only took seconds for the big man to make up his mind, and i'll give you a hint; it's not very beneficial to me. With as much force as he could he started incing me off the cliff again. I tried to fight him off as best I can but he had a good 100 pounds on me. The young man reached for his pistol and sprinted towards us. This was followed by dozens of the strange men sprinting after him. The fat man's hand moved from my hair to my throat and that's when everything began to go blurry. As I kicked and scratched i could feel my energy fading and myself slipping away. I glared up into to sun that was beating down on this damn island, everything was in slow motion it seemed and then everything just stopped. The pain. The fighting. The yelling. It all just stopped, and everything was white. "I'm dying I thought to myself, I'm really dying."
DAY SIXTEEN
I lay there surrounded by white; it was almost blinding. It appeared that I was alone so I sat up and got to my feet.
"Wow" I thought to myself as I touched the part of my leg that had been pierced with plane fragments days ago. The wound was gone and i felt no pain. "Damn I really must be de-" and without finishing my sentence there was a voice.
"Bethany." The voice said with warmth, it sounded so familiar but I couldn't place it.
"Uhhhh yes?" I answered with uncertainty. And then a figure appeared behind me and I turned around slowly, afraid of who it might be. When our eyes finally I met i gasped with such surprise.
"Mike...is that...is that really you??"
"yes Bethany, it's really me." He said with laughter and pulled me in for a hug.
DAY SEVENTEEN
My eyes filled up with tears and I immediately hugged him back.
"What the...where did you come from?! How are you here?!" I was crying pretty heavily now but I didn't know if I was sad or happy. "I've missed you so much Mike, I love you."
He stopped the hug and replied; "I've missed you too. Hows my little sis?" That just made me cry even more so I started hugging him again. Reality started to set in as I slowly pulled away from the hug.
"Mike, how is all of this happening. I mean you're...well you know, dead."
"I know this is all so confusing Bethany but you have to listen to me but we don't have much time. You have a choice to make."
"A choice?"
"Yes a choice. Only certain people get this choice."
I looked at him with confusion. "I don't understand, what choice do I have to make?"
"To live or to die Bethany." I had nothing to say so I just stared at my shoes. "I know you want to give up and I know things are hard right now but you can't die Bethany."
"But you died, you died and left all of us Mike! That's not fair!"
"Bethany I didn't have a choice. I fought till the end. If you chose to die it will be because you gave up, not because there is no more fight left in you." My vision was still locked on the floor.
"I want to stay here, with you! Life is horrible with out you Mike, nothing is the same. And I can still see mom and dad, I can watch over them and protect them or whatever ghosts do."
"The afterlife isn't that great Bethany, you don't get to see them."
"What do you mean?"
"You only get moments. If i'm in the same place as you or mom or dad I can feel it, and don't get me wrong it's the best feeling in the world, but it only lasts for a moment. So please, I beg you to make the right choice and live. Take this moment and really live."
DAY EIGHTEEN
The tears were rolling in now and I couldn't get them under control. I sniffled and looked at my deceased brother.
"I-I can't do this without you though Mike, not anymore."
"Bethany I love you, you know that. And you know I always will. But you staying here, it's not right. It's stupid actually."
"What? How could you say that..."
"You deserve to live, and you have the will power to do so, so you giving up is just stupid."
"I can't fight anymore, i'm so tired. I haven't eaten in days and my leg hurts so bad."
"Excuses. You can push just a little more, I know you can."
"Mike, pleas-" Something was happening. A bright shinning portal-like opening appeared a few feet away. "What the hell is that?"
"Someone else is transitioning, just like you." We waited to see who the person was and mike took a few steps closer towards me; funny, even when he is dead he would die for me. A few seconds later a body was outlined in white light and began to step forward, the body looked somewhat familiar. My stare focused in and within a split second I knew exactly who it was.
"Benjamin....?"
"Hel-hello?"
"Benjamin!"
"Where am I?" I ran over to hug him as soon as his presence appeared. "Bethany?!"
DAY NINETEEN
"wher-where am I?" he asked nervously.
"Well, I'm pretty sure you're in transition..."
"Transition... Transition to what?"
"...Death.." His eyes widened and met mine. "i'm so sorry...what happened after I got taken?"
"Well after awhile, when things seemed safe, I tried looking for you. I looked for days Bethany, but there no was no trace of you or where you could have gone. I made a new camp site and lived off what I could. Oh and I found the waterfall, it's the most amazing thing I've ever seen."
"That's great Benjamin it really is, but how are you- well you know..."
"Dying? Well I was sick of berries so and I had made a spear-type thing so I decided to go fishing in the pool of the waterfall. I couldn't quite reach where the fish were settling so i got into the water and started following then around, but as I was walking I guess the pool got pretty deep and I fell in with my pack on." His voice started to shake. "It was so heavy and I was so tired, so caught off guard. I tried to get it off but it was tied to me and-" His story ended. "well yeah, now i'm here I guess."
"Benjamin...I'm so sorry. I shouldn't of left you.."
"Bethany when you ran away you saved my life. It took me a little bit to realize that, but you did.Thank you." I pulled him into me and hugged him again.
"Uh I hate to break this up but Bethany you're losing time.." My brother chimed in.
"Who's that? And what is he talking about?"
"Oh right sorry! Benjamin meet Mike, my brother. Mike this is Benjamin, he was sitting next to me on the plane."
"Pleased to meet you." Benjamin said, putting his hand out for a nice handshake.
"Hey, nice to meet you too."
"So you're a....dead?"
"Yeah, died in combat. But that's not important right now." He turned my way and placed his hands on my shoulders. "Please Bethany."
"Mike, not now."
"Yes now! You don't understand, time is running out!"
"What is he talking about Bethany...?"
"She has a choice Benjamin, she can stay here or she can return to life and live."
"Mike stop! He's just a kid he doesn't need to hear this!"
"No it's okay...Bethany I think you should go back. You need to try and get off this island."
"i don't know...."
"If you're not going to do it for yourself, do it for us, please." A bright light began to shine in between the three of us.
"This is it Bethany!" Mike yelled. "You need to make a choice!"
My heart raced and I looked at Mike and then at Benjamin, then back at Mike. They both just smiled at me, content with this whole situation. I shut my eyes and cleared my mind.
"I choose to go back." And with that the light stretched out, covering all of the whiteness and Mike and Benjamin disappeared.
"see ya in another life guys."
DAY TWENTY
The light consumed me then turned into what I thought was the sun and with that I awoke back on the ground at the camp site. Something was different though. The young man that had caused such a commotion was leaning over me, touching my face. Startled I quickly sat up.
"Shit sorry I didn't mean to scare you."
"It's okay..um what happened?" I looked around to see every man from the site dead on the ground, this startled me even more.
"I'm not going to hurt you, I promise."
"Why did you kill all of them?"
"They aren't good people Bethany."
"How do you know my name?!"
"It's a very long story, you'll know soon enough though don't worry. More importantly are you okay? You were out for quite a bit, I thought you were gone."
"Uh yeah I'm alright, just a little light headed. Do you have any water?"
"As a matter of fact I do, here."
"Thanks." I replied with a smile. I wondered if I could trust him.
"Here lets get you up." He held out his hand and helped me get to my feet. I grabbed my neck to where the fat mans hands were clasped so tightly around and swolled hard.
" He got you pretty good didn't he, that bastard."
"Yeah..so how did you know to come and save me or whatever..?"
"Like I said, it's a long story."
"Well I think I deserve an explanation, don't you?" He sighed and looked at me and laughed.
"Yeah, I suppose you do. You were in a plane crash right?"
"Uh yeah...how did you-"
"Yeah well I was too, but way before yours."
"Wait what?!"
"You see those men Bethany,he pointed to all the decaying bodies, they're the reason why we're here. And ever since we crashed they have been watching us, along with many others, playing mind games and just messing with us."
"Why though..."
"That's the question of the century. That's why I'm still alive, to find out why. All of the people from my crash are dead,I'm the last one."
"Well, now I'm here. We can do this together."
"I'd like...I'm Jack, pleased to make your acquaintance Bethany." I shook his had and nodded with a smile.
"I'm not alone anymore" I thought to myself.
"We should get out of here before more of them come.." And into the jungle we went.

I don't normally mind flying, its just the taking off and the landing, I usually hold my mothers hand but she wasn't there so I forcefully shut my eyes and strongly gripped the arm rest. Clearly aware of my discomfort the young boy sitting next to me held my hand and said "don't worry its almost over." I smiled and thanked him, this was the last thing i remember before it all happened.I felt something wet drop onto the back of my head.
After a few minutes I got back to my feet and started on my way again, but just as I was about to push through the shrubbery, I grabbed a big handful of white berries, "just in case.." I thought to myself.DAY THREE
After i got a safe enough distance away from the waterfall and the sound of the gun shots, I gently sat myself down on a tree stump and poured some water on my wound which still had the metal jabbed in my skin. I breathed heavily as i wrapped my leg with some bandages and the silence was almost deadly, until i heard a faint "h-hello..?"DAY FOUR
"I knew there was someone here i just knew it!" I looked up and the face slowly came into focus; It was the young boy who sat next to me on plane.DAY FIVE
"Oh my gosh hi!" I cried out with relief. I struggled to get back to my feet."Hi!
"Do you have any food on you by any chance?" he asked."Yes, I actually do" i replied with a smile.
Benjamin was already up and walking around the campsite."Oh good you're up!" he said.
After a few steps my leg started to ache and then i remembered the injury i had gotten and took a seat on a tree stump again."Hey wait up a second." I called out to Benjamin, who had quite a big lead on me I might add.
With my heart pounding I drug myself as fast as i could over to the tree just in time to hear a mans voice."Who's out there?!" he shouted with some sort of accent I couldn't quite place.
And again i was all alone.DAY ELEVEN
"Holy sh-"I began...these people had the plane radio, and it was actually working!
He must be the man in charge."Ello" he said with a deep, creepy British accent.
I tightly grasps his hands that were still gripped on my hair and began to cry out for him to stop."Stop, please!!" I screamed, but he continued to push me further and further off.
All heads turned to the young, unarmed man."Who dares interrupt me?!" The hefty man yelled.
At this point in time i wanted to believe my life was safe, but my hair was still being tightly gripped and this made me think otherwise."HAHAHA!" His laugh echoed in the distance.
It appeared that I was alone so I sat up and got to my feet."Wow" I thought to myself as I touched the part of my leg that had been pierced with plane fragments days ago.
My eyes filled up with tears and I immediately hugged him back."What the...where did you come from?!
I sniffled and looked at my deceased brother."I-I can't do this without you though Mike, not anymore."
"wher-where am I?" he asked nervously."Well, I'm pretty sure you're in transition..."
Startled I quickly sat up."Shit sorry I didn't mean to scare you."
